Background

I have been making art since i was old enough to hold a pencil and always hoped to sell my work when I grew up. I studied Fine Art for Design and have continued my art practice around caring for my family.

My inspiration comes from the natural world.  I love particularly gardens and the sea. I also take much inspiration from my children's pets and day to day life.

Everything I make is designed to be personal, to make you smile, to be something pleasing to look at.  I am an eclectic artist, I often work in textiles and machine embroidery, I sketch in pencil and work in acrylic as well as creating more 'fun' pieces with found objects such as stones, sea glass and pottery.
